About us
Harper & Mae Brisbane – Our Survival Sale
Eighteen years ago, sisters Harper and Mae made one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Harper was building a career in the fashion industry, while Mae worked as an accountant. On paper, their futures looked secure. But deep down, they shared a dream they couldn't ignore: opening a boutique of their own.
For years, they worked long hours, saved every dollar they could, and poured their hearts into making that dream a reality. They took a leap of faith, invested their savings, and opened Harper & Mae Brisbane — a boutique built on their love for fashion, quality, and helping women feel confident in what they wear.
Over the years, Harper & Mae became more than just a store. It became a place filled with conversations, friendships, and loyal customers who supported two sisters chasing a dream.
But the past few years have been incredibly challenging.
The cost of running a small independent boutique has continued to rise, while consumer spending has slowed. Despite countless late nights, new collections, and everything we've done to keep moving forward, sales have become increasingly difficult.
Today, Harper & Mae faces one of the toughest moments in its history.
Our Survival Sale isn't about expansion or growth. It's about giving our boutique a fighting chance to stay open. Every order helps us cover costs, keep our doors open, and continue the dream we sacrificed so much to build.
If you've ever supported a small business, thank you. And if you choose to shop with us during our Survival Sale, please know that it genuinely makes a difference.
With love,
Harper & Mae 🤍
